Salary: Up to £675 per day (outside IR35)
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead their Oracle Finance and HR system programme. This programme addresses both immediate weaknesses and the implementation of a comprehensive re-implementation of Oracle solutions, including a new Income Management System, Oracle Redwood User Interface adoption, and school transitions off the Oracle platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects and programme work streams, ensuring deliverables meet time, cost, quality, scope, and risk parameters.
* Deploy consistent project management practices, including planning, resource management, risk and issue management, and stage gate processes.
* Facilitate project planning workshops and produce high-level and detailed project plans.
* Proactively manage risks and issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Deliver detailed reporting on project status, progress, and performance metrics.
* Mentor and support delivery teams, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Contribute to the development of a programme and project management centre of excellence.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Degree-level education with PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
* Over seven years’ experience managing complex technology-enabled transformation projects/programmes.
* Expertise in project management principles and matrix working.
* Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Experience managing at least one Oracle Cloud implementation programme exceeding £20 million over two years and five years’ experience on Tier 1 ERP programmes (Oracle ERP preferred).
* Development and maintenance of project/work stream plans and RAID logs.
* Consistent reporting and management of risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Documentation to support stage gates, exception reports, and change requests.
* Contribution to programme governance, including artefacts for a centre of excellence.
