The role I’m looking to recruit is for an experienced Manager to work closely with the Partners in the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning, undertaking and supervising assignments
2. Client specific projects
3. Year-end compliance requirements; statutory accounts and tax returns
4. Accountability for a portfolio of clients/jobs
5. Managing a small team
6. Involvement in the business development of the office and Firm
Your technical accounting and tax skills will be excellent and up to date, and you will have achieved the ACA or ACCA qualification, backed up with several years of accountancy practice experience. You will also need to display:
1. Interpersonal skills to interact with a varied client portfolio
2. Management skills to mentor and supervise a team of high performing professionals
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
