About The Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties. You will have the flexibility to choose short-term, long-term or day-to-day assignments across a variety of SEN and mainstream settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support to students with a range of SEN Assist the teachers in delivering tailored plans that support individual learning needs Use positive behaviour management strategies to help students engage in learning Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence Work alongside teachers, therapists and SENCOs to implement EHCPs Adapt to different school environments and be ready to support varied educational approaches. Who We’re Looking For: Experience working with children in the UK is essential. Experience with SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs would be highly beneficial. A patient, compassionate and resilient approach to supporting students The ability to adapt quickly to different school settings and student requirements A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous but not required A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Why Join Us?
