The Opportunity
At QBE, we are always looking for eager to learn Insurance Claims Professionals for our claims team to guide people to get their lives back on track after an injury. We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager to join our Common Law CTP team.
Your New Role
* Manage a portfolio of Common Law CTP claims that arise from motor vehicle accidents.
* Comply with highly regulated scheme completing various tasks in a timely manner to assist our vulnerable customers.
* Frequently liaise with relevant parties, request information to guide treatment/medical requests, support liability, and make decisions on claims within delegated authorities.
* Continue to learn and grow your knowledge through an ever-changing variety of situations and challenges.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by guiding and assisting them through their recovery.
* Work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* Manage end-to-end claims with the help of your leaders.
About You
* Must have insurance claims/allied health experience.
* Be customer-focused and genuinely care about people.
* Be resilient and not easily overwhelmed.
* The confidence to make decisions and be empowered.
* Be able to actively listen to people and guide them through the claims process in an empathetic manner.
* Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems.
