My client in the Midlands require an Sales Account Manager for the North of England and Scotland fully remote
This is an account management and new business sales role covering the specified region.
The overview of the role is below:
Purpose:
· Accountable for achieving/exceeding sales target.
· Relationship management of New Business and existing customer accounts in the territory
· Representing the client to customers within the industry and trade shows
· To act as an ambassador to internal and external stakeholders
Responsible to: Head of Sales
Responsible for:
· Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored product recommendations and solutions through face to face /virtual meetings.
· Customer Support: Objection handling and providing demonstrations and surveys to customers / specifiers / consultants and end users as required.
· Product/Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the market and products and services offered by the company, effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Feeding back market and customer requests to the business.
· Sales Generation and performance: Achieve or exceed all KPIs. Proactively approach new and existing customers to drive sales, to meet or exceed sales targets through negotiation, effective product presentation and persuasive selling techniques.
· Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business, timely follow up on sales leads and referrals.
Attend and represent Client at industry/customer events and trade shows. Attend team meetings sharing best practise with colleagues. Maintaining and enhancing the company’s reputation through professionalism, good-practice, and ethical selling techniques.
· Administrative Tasks: Creating and adapting presentations, framework agreements and proposal documents. Managing the CRM and providing accurate forecasts to the Head of Sales. To promptly and properly assist the office and management in their queries or reasonable requests for assistance.
· Compliance: To work within the Company’s and statutory requirements, including quality auditing and management policies, guidelines, protocols and procedures.
Essential Qualifications, Key Skills and Experience:
· Education: Educated to degree level, or equivalent work experience.
· Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, actively listen to their needs, and articulate product features and benefits. Excellent Verbal, presentation and written communication.
· Technology Proficiency: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
· Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Forecasting/Pipeline Management: Previous experience in providing sales forecasts and managing a pipeline.
Desirable Qualifications, Key Skills and Experience:
· Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products or services offered by the company, or the ability to quickly learn and understand them.
· Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the industry in which the company operates and/or requirements of EN54 and BS5839-1 is beneficial.
· Previous Experience in managing a CRM
