Acorn by SYNERGIE is searching for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join our client, a manufacturing company in Walton Summit, Preston on a temporary basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the duties will include:
1. Managing and maintaining the sales ledger.
2. Processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
3. Allocating payments and reconciling accounts.
4. Handling customer queries and resolving discrepancies.
5. Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a sales ledger or similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in financial software including Sage 50.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Competitive hourly rate on offer. Minimum duration 4 weeks with the potential to be extended.
