Customer Success Manager - AI Technology - Account Executive / Business Development
Aventis is excited to partner with a leading AI technology firm looking to expand their rapidly growing team. We are seeking a pair of enthusiastic and driven Customer Success Managers / Sales / Business Development Consultants / Account Executives to join this expanding division. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in identifying leads, engaging with prospects, and driving the sales process from initial contact through to closing, including both presales and post-sales support.

* Salary: £60,000-80,000 + bonus up to 100-200% + benefits
* Location: Remote-based with a London HQ
* Future Growth: You will be part of an emerging division, working closely with the leadership team at major organisations to drive actual AI adoption across various industries, with a focus on financial services, banking and insurance. As this grows, we'll be looking to promote people internally when possible. There'll be a clear pathway for someone to rise up the ranks quickly with genuine potential to become Commercial Director or similar status.
Key Skills, Attributes, and Experience Desired:
* Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales, business development, and lead generation within a technology or consulting environment, ideally focused on AI, technology, or digital transformation.
* Presales Experience: Ability to engage with potential clients during the presales phase, including conducting needs assessments, crafting proposals, and presenting AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Client Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at various levels within target organizations.
* Lead Generation: Experience in identifying and nurturing leads, using a variety of channels such as networking, social media, industry events, and direct outreach to identify new business opportunities.
* Sales Process Ownership: Experience managing the full sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to closing deals, and providing post-sale support as necessary.
* Consultative Selling: Expertise in a consultative approach to sales, with the ability to understand client needs, propose tailored solutions, and deliver presentations that clearly articulate the value of AI and digital transformation solutions.
* Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to drive successful sales outcomes.
* Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and cloud-based technologies, with the ability to speak knowledgeably about the technical solutions you're selling.
* CRM Tools: Experience with CRM platforms to track sales activities, manage opportunities, and report on progress.
* Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategies, key performance indicators, and how technology can drive operational improvement and revenue growth.
Role Overview:
The existing clientele is stacked! Big names are already leveraging the AI technology, and while the tech team is at the top of their game, we need someone to own the customer success landscape. Overall, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the AI offerings by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities.
You will be instrumental in both the presales and sales process, ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to closing.
