Job Description Senior Legal Counsel- 8-10 years PQE (PERMANENT) Hunter Savage is currently partnering with this leading client to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to work as part of their solid and growing in house legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of NI's leading companies and work in a broad in-house role. The role would suit a Solicitor with circa 8-10 years PQE who has a background in commercial contracts/commercial litigation/disputes, who has experience in delivering strategic and business orientated legal and risk mitigation advice either in an in-house legal role, or as an external legal advisor to Senior Management. The Role This is a broad in house role and your main responsibility will be to advise the overall business on a broad range of legal advice. More specifically this will include; - Advise on best practice and develop governance policies and manage the impact of external factors, to ensure legal compliance - Oversight of the work allocation across the team. - Assist with and actively participate by ensuring legal compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks. - Manage competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced legal and regulatory environment. The Person Ideally you will meet the following criteria: - Qualified Solicitor - 8-10 years PQE. - You will have come from either private practice or an in-house role. - Will have the ability to provide risk mitigation and good corporate governance. - Strong legal drafting skills. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders. -Demonstrable experience of fostering and building lasting internal and external stakeholder relationships.
