Salary : £31,000 - £42,000 per year (DOE) + on-call earnings & overtime
Contract : Full-time, Permanent - Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

The Role
As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of security and fire safety systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire detection systems. You will work across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas, ensuring all installations and maintenance meet industry standards and client requirements.
This role requires a proactive and customer-focused approach, as you will be liaising with clients to provide expert advice, troubleshooting, and high-quality service. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities;
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and fire systems
Conduct routine inspections and system testing
Work closely with customers and team members to ensure seamless system integration
Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices
What We're Looking For
Key Skills & Experience;
Time-served Fire & Security Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship
Minimum of two years' experience in security systems installation and maintenance
Full UK driving licence required
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot faults
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
