Working as part of a strong, established team, the successful Accounts Assistant will play a key role in ensuring that financial deadlines are met, monitoring activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in this fast paced, commercial environment. You will have at least 1 year of experience working within finance and you will be looking to secure an opportunity that will allow you to both utilise and develop your existing skills base. As the Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include: - Bank reconciliations and resolving any queries. - Monitoring bank activity and preparing reports for the Finance Manager. - Petty cash management. - Purchase ledger processing. - Assisting with sales ledger as required. - Journal entries and calculating accruals and prepayments. - Daily use of Microsoft Excel and financial software.
