Quantity Surveyor - Highways

On behalf of our esteemed client, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a long-term highways term maintenance programme based in East Sussex. This role is ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor who thrives on managing a diverse range of infrastructure and public realm projects, contributing to the improvement of local communities.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the commercial management of highways maintenance works, including:
·High street resurfacing
·New paving and drainage installations
·Installation of street lighting and street furniture
·Landscaping and associated civil engineering works
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with:
·Demonstrable experience within highways or local authority maintenance frameworks
·A working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
·Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
·A proactive and collaborative working style
·The ability to manage costs, subcontractor accounts, and valuations confidently
