About you
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Driver/Operatives who will be involved in part of the process of aseptically prepared products. You will work within the team to continue to develop our capacity and capability so that we can continue to deliver our products to hospitals and patients' homes across the UK and beyond.

Applicants must have a full, clean, current driving license. Previous warehouse and van driving experience is essential and must be demonstrable. A DBS Check is a requirement for this role for any successful candidate.
Your role will be varied taking on different tasks within the warehouse. You will be responsible as part of a team to help control the inward and outward stock
Your duties & responsibilities
* Receive stock into the quarantine area as per the standard operating procedures, check and complete required documentation and book on to the system.
* To co-ordinate and perform the picking, packing and dispatch of all orders for dispatch to hospital/clinical settings.
* To monitor stock levels and coordinate with administration for ordering and resupply.
* Providing a prompt and responsive delivery service of medicines to hospitals and courier collection points and the replenishment of stock as required
* Monitoring temperature control systems.
* To maintain all of the documentation relating to the stores.
* To follow the standard operating procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice in order to maintain the Units ‘Specials Licence’.
* To ensure that all relevant production validations are kept up to date.
* To ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a tidy ordered condition and to a standard of appearance concordant with the professional nature of the work, this includes the restocking of consumable stock.
* To maintain an effective system of stock control to include:
* Routine stock checks (some may be out of hours)
* Stock rotation
* Checking of expiry dates
* Safe Operation and use of company vehicles to include:
* Safety checks
* Maintenance (POL)
* Temperature control equipment
* Use of navigation aids
* To ensure that the relevant principles of “Good Manufacturing Practice” (GMP) are applied at all times
* To ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and all other relevant legislation e.g. Medicines Act, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
* To follow Standard Operating Procedures and to contribute to the development and maintenance of these and other work instructions
* Other tasks as required by the Production management team or Warehouse Supervisor
* To attend such study days and up-dating courses as are deemed necessary for the development of the unit and yourself.
* To undertake any other duties within the production team as required by your Manager/Supervisor which may include some out of hours work depending on the nature of the task.

Working Pattern
Full time - 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday. Shifts are one week of days followed by one week of lates on rotation:
Day Shift 08:30 - 17:00
Late Shift 11:30 - 20:00
1 in 8 weeks a driving shift:
18:00 - 02:00
Sun- Thursday
Friday off
Occasional Saturday morning overtime for stock count (Quarterly)

* Annual salary: £24,449 + £200 per month driving shift allowance (after full training)
* Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
