An exciting opportunity to develop social executions from the ground up. Focusing on developing and strengthening the business's brand awareness and profitability, this role will act as Social Media Executive for Karen Millen across all social media content communications and channels. The focus will be on supporting and developing the social content strategy & activations, monitoring performance, and creating and scheduling content across multiple social channels. This person will support driving the KPIs and commerce through the power of social, playing a pivotal role in the brand marketing team. Reporting into the Senior Social Media Manager, the role will work closely with senior internal members, alongside marketing, creative, ecommerce, and communications teams to deliver creative and seamless activations, driving growth and commercial KPIs.

What you’ll be doing
* Coordinate content across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
* Schedule & publish content to channels daily in line with Marketing & Trade calendars while remaining agile to product and promotional changes.
* Assist with generating creative ideas for social-first content including campaign assets, real-time videos, and copy.
* Create relevant reactive social assets, particularly Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
* Assist Senior Social Media Manager with campaign projects, supporting content strategy, content creation, and community management.
* Brief the creative team and manage end-to-end assets from brief to posting on assigned content streams.
* Create social-first content by planning and executing lifestyle shoots, capturing BTS, Instagram reels, and TikTok content on campaign and internal shoots.
* Collaborate as part of the wider marketing team to develop new social initiatives to drive KPIs, i.e., partnerships, competitions, giveaways, influencer content.
* Build great relationships across the business including buying, digital, creative, and marketing to ensure all product, trade, and design messages are relevant and timely.
* Continuously monitor UGC from influencers, micro-influencers & fan community, selecting key posts for approval & inclusion in the social plan.
* Analyse and report on success weekly, monthly, and seasonally, including future recommendations to test.
* Assist Senior Social Media Manager with weekly and monthly report presentations and post-campaign analysis.
* Support the Senior Social Media Manager in managing Karen Millen’s TikTok Shop and working on initiatives to include this in our weekly TikTok content schedule.
* Engage in social media presence across all platforms to drive brand and build community, i.e., press, blogs, influencers, and customers.
* Ensure regular communication with our audiences to build brand trust and loyalty, including promoting key campaigns e.g., #MyKM and interacting through our KM: Access All Areas Broadcast Channel.
* Monitor competitor activity and social trends weekly to ensure the brand remains relevant.
* Brief the customer services team with clear guidelines and regular contact to ensure their communication with customers is on-brand and relevant to each social channel. When required, assist with monitoring and answering customer service-related questions or escalating issues.
Minimum Qualifications
* Social Media experience, ideally in fashion across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. Focus on Instagram and TikTok is essential.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of SEO copy is viewed as a plus.
* Proficiency with social software i.e., Facebook Business Manager / Dash Hudson.
* Familiarity with Google Analytics is preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency skills with image and video editing.
* Passionate about fashion.
* Understanding of paid functionalities across social platforms viewed as a plus.
* A sound understanding of the social media industry and platforms.
* A creative mind, thinking innovatively when it comes to social media and content campaigns.
* Organised and process-driven approach to work.
* Thrives in a fast-paced and agile environment.
* Able to work on multiple projects at one time.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic, happy to get involved in a variety of projects.
* Team player, working with teams across the business.
* Have a flexible attitude to support the scheduling needs of the business at weekends as required (typically this will be 1 hour every weekend).
