Job Role: Evening Porter (Ref 22674) Location: Histon, Cambridgeshire Salary: £9,601.28 per annum, plus benefits Job Sector: Retirement - Assisted Living Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 5pm-9pm (16 hours per week) The job role To effectively manage and professionally mange the development, whilst providing a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for the residents To visit any frail or ill Residents. To read diary to check on weekly events Prepare coffee maker in the lounge. To carry out three monthly Warden Call tests as required and log on appropriate sheet. To prepare guest suite as required. To carryout regular security checks of the building. Master keys must be signed for when handed over. Skills & Experience Customer service - a passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times, ideally in a face to face environment. Communication - a natural communicator, warm and friendly and able to make customers feel valued Health & Safety - an understanding of the importance of health & safety, experience of dealing with challenging or emergency situations Organisation - organised, methodical and able to prioritise tasks effectively Personal - an outgoing personality, with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers, self-motivated, pro-active, team oriented, and innovative.
