Job Description:
Integral UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carpentry Apprentice to join our building services team. This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in carpentry within a commercial setting. You will work alongside experienced carpenters, receiving thorough training and mentorship to establish a strong foundation for a successful career in the carpentry trade.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures, including doors, windows, and partitions.
2. Support senior carpenters on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
3. Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for carpentry projects.
4. Participate in site visits to assist with inspections and quality control checks.
5. Help select and prepare materials for construction and installation projects.
6. Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and promote safe working practices.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:
8. Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths and Science is required for this role
9. Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering
10. Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment
11. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
12. Good level of Attendance, self-discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively
13. There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old
14. You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.

GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship start date.
