Estimator – Facilities Management £65k -£70k

Position Overview: As a Facilities Estimator, you will play a critical role in our organization by accurately estimating the cost of projects related to facility maintenance, construction, and renovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budgetary constraints. Prepare cost estimates for facility maintenance, renovation, and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Analyse project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Cost Analysis:
Research and gather data on material and labour costs, subcontractor bids, equipment, and other relevant cost factors.
Analyse cost data and industry trends to provide accurate estimates for projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project scopes and ensure all aspects of a project are considered in the estimates.
Continuously monitor and control project costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that estimates and project plans align with quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in facilities estimating within the construction or facilities management industry.
Strong proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices.
Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
