As Finance Business Partner, you will:
* Strategic Financial Support - Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to Directors, Heads of Departments, and senior leadership to drive business performance and informed decision-making.
* Budgeting & Forecasting - Proactively manage the annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and future financial sustainability.
* KPI & Trend Analysis - Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to develop dynamic KPI dashboards and financial trend analyses to support operational and strategic planning.
* Cost-Saving & Revenue Generation - Support budget holders in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives and income-generating opportunities while ensuring alignment with PDSA's mission.
* Business Case Review & Financial Viability - Collaborate with stakeholders to review business cases, ensuring financial viability before submission and advising on resource allocation.
* Financial Reporting & Compliance - Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, engage with the Financial Accounting team and external auditors, and contribute to financial accuracy and compliance.
We're seeking someone with:
* Professional Accounting Qualification - Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) or significant relevant experience in a business finance role.
* Financial Analysis & Forecasting Expertise - Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decision-making.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering - Proven ability to influence and support senior leaders with clear financial insights and commercial awareness.
* Data & Reporting Proficiency - High proficiency in financial reporting tools, advanced Excel skills, and experience in developing financial dashboards.
* Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement - Strong analytical skills to identify financial risks, opportunities, and areas for performance optimisation.
* Multi-Sector Finance Support - Experience supporting multiple business areas, ensuring financial sustainability, adaptability, and strategic alignment.
