About the role
SEIB Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Equestrian Insurance Sales Executive to join our South Ockendon office.

Key responsibilities
1. Client Satisfaction
o Adherence to contracted performance standards for the business
o Deliver a suite of business proposal, quotation and tender documents
o Organise and attend external prospecting visits to Equestrian establishments
o Ensure awareness by all staff of SLAs/service instructions
o Complaint resolution
o Supporting Equestrian Business Team
o Cross sell products and identify clients have satisfactory cover
2. New Business Sales
o Pro-actively promote the business to obtain leads and new business
o Undertake clear fact finding to identify clients’ needs and match to the appropriate product
o Target driven approach and working to achieve KPI
o Promote and quote SEIB’s products at events and attend SEIB trade stands (Your Horse Live, Trailblazers etc)
3. Agents
o Maintain and build relationships with agents to obtain further business over and above the current placed business
o Actively call and negotiate further business opportunities
4. Compliance
o Adherence to Internal Procedures and Processes in order to fully satisfy all Regulatory Requirements and ensure that all and/or Errors and Omissions are reported to the Compliance department
o Adherence to reporting procedures for both Internal and External Clients.
o Adherence and support the culture of Regulatory Compliance and ensure all processes and activities are specified to comply with FCA and any other regulatory body
o Have a solid understanding and achieve a level of competency on the schemes we offer
5. General
o Have an in-depth knowledge of the business and its products
o Ensure computer records are accurate and in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
o Ensure that your CPD is actively maintained through various learning methods and record accurately
o Continue own personal progress in Chartered Insurance Institute exams
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Insurance/Sales experience – sales skills and a desire to sell are essential
* Equestrian knowledge
* Strong interpersonal, numeracy and organisational skills - ability to influence external customers and internal stakeholders and are self-motivated and confident in presenting and talking to people
* Tenacity and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
* Strong communication & presentation skills
* An ambitious nature with the drive to achieve and exceed targets
* Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously using your time effectively and planning efficiently
