A little bit about us, we are BEAR!
We’re an ambitious young company determined to take a big bite out of bad snacking habits. Grrr.
We make pure fruit snacks with no added nonsense that make being healthy a little bit easier and a whole lot tastier. Real Fruit, Real Flavour, Real Fun!
We started out making our tasty pure fruit yoyos, and now also make a whole host of other tasty pure fruit products too that go into several snacking categories: ‘paws’ for babies and toddlers, crunchy ‘Alphabites’ cereal with no refined sugar or salt. Ice lollies made from only two ingredients and a big ambition to take this brand beyond the above.
Since we launched 14 years ago, we’ve grown quickly and we are currently sold in all the UK’s supermarkets and grrreat stores across the UK.
Now we are taking BEAR around the world and have really ambitious plans for our international growth. We are a growing team of 38 people, as well as our colleagues in the Lotus Bakeries Natural Foods division; a family of brands that we joined in 2021.
BEAR are looking for a hungry new cub to join an ambitious and high performing sales team that have driven continuous growth for the last 3 years. Working alongside the Senior National Account Manager you will be challenged to unlock opportunities in the key sectors of Convenience and Foodservice while managing a number of existing customers. This is an exceptional chance to make a difference in a thriving business.
Working as part of the Sales team and working closely with our Impulse SNAM, these would be some of your main responsibilities
1. To devise & deliver exceptional business plans with key customers in the OOH channel, ensuring sales of our products are maximised at key trading periods.
2. Manage P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume and GP% metrics
3. Extend our depth & breadth of product ranges in key customers across the Out-of-Home channel - with a real focus on winning new business
4. To build unrivalled cross functional relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category & format teams
5. Utilise customer systems to maximise our sales including influencing availability, compliance, promotion management
6. Deliver top class visibility and penetration through bringing BEAR alive in customer (POS, secondary displays, samplings)
7. Work with the Category Manager to deliver killer insights that drive significant business benefit
You will likely be an existing National Account Manager (or an awesome NAE with experience of working on the Top 4).
