The Clancy Group Ltd is looking for someone who thrives on navigating wayleaves, planning permissions, easements, leases, and land acquisitions to keep projects moving forward.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of exciting infrastructure developments whether it's underground cables, overhead lines, or ground-mounted installations on public and private land. You'll work closely with landowners, local authorities, regulators, and contractors, building strong relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly.

What will I be doing?
In this role, you'll:
* Talk through wayleaves, easements, leases, and access permissions, ensuring everything aligns with the Electricity Act 1989 and other key regulations.
* Keep up to date with planning laws, environmental standards, and land rights legislation to navigate projects smoothly.
* Assess, negotiate, and resolve compensation claims related to land use, wayleaves, and access agreements.
* Oversee and coordinate external consultants and contractors delivering consent-related services, ensuring top-quality work.
* Keep detailed and accurate records of agreements, permits, and consents, while providing clear reports for stakeholders.
What do I need to succeed?
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
* Strong experience in electrical consents management within the power utility infrastructure sector.
* Skills in securing consents, land acquisition, and managing compensation claims, with a strong understanding of the Electricity Act 1989, planning regulations, environmental laws, and land rights
* Proven ability to engage and negotiate effectively with landowners, tenants, and legal representatives.
* Capability in working with government agencies, utility providers, and other key stakeholders to drive projects forward.
