The Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative / Stock Controller to join our team at the Knowsley site. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous upkeep and smooth operation of the site, equipment, and grounds.
This position is ideal for someone with a hands-on approach that can utilize their skills in site maintenance.

Hours Per Week: 37.5
Days Per Week: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
The day to day
* Carry out general site maintenance, including plumbing, joinery, plastering, painting, and fabrication work.
* Perform repairs and upkeep of site facilities, ensuring the premises remain safe, functional, and well-presented.
* Maintain external grounds, including minor landscaping and outdoor repairs.
* Assist with office and laboratory equipment setup, relocation, and renovation projects.
* Support stock control and deliveries, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock.
* Operate FLT (Forklift Truck) for stock handling, loading, and unloading.
* Drive the company van for deliveries and collections as required.
* Maintain logbooks and records in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 standards.
The Essentials
* Experience in site maintenance, general repairs, or a related trade.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
* Methodical and efficient completion of tasks.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a solution-focused approach.
* Experience in plumbing, joinery, brickwork, plastering, or fabrication (desirable).
* Previous experience in all warehouse operations.
* FLT license required (or willingness to obtain).
