Detailed job description available at interview stage Chronic Disease Management: Monitoring and managing conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension. Infection Prevention Control (IPC): Leading and working to the IPC Policy providing audits, training, support and evidence of compliance to the practice manager. Cervical Screening: Performing cervical smears (PAP tests) to screen for abnormal cervical cells, in line with current national guidelines and best practice protocols. Immunisations: Administering childhood vaccinations, flu vaccines, and other routine immunisations. Wound Care: Performing dressings, leg ulcer management, and other wound care procedures. Health Promotion: Providing advice on lifestyle changes, smoking cessation, weight management, and sexual health. General Nursing Duties: Undertaking routine assessments, blood pressure checks, ECGs, and urine testing. Support for Minor Injuries: Assisting with minor injuries and offering initial assessments and treatment. Collaboration: Working closely with the GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
