Job Title: Litigation Coordinator
Location: Leeds (LS12)
Pay rate: £13.40 – 14.76 (dependant upon experience)
Job Type: Full-time (37 hours per week) temp to perm contract (subject to passing probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm)

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Litigation Coordinator to join our client’s team. You will handle a specific caseload for recovery of costs incurred due to damage caused to our client’s assets by third parties and handle claims for resolution received from other utilities for network damage. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, as well as time management, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ in a timely manner within the Delegations of Authority.
Establish key customer contacts and manage down their debt.
Use IT applications including Solcase, GIS, Eam Spatial, OMS, and Oracle.
Apply and understand the principles of relevant legislation and guidance notes when handling damage claims.
Handle technical and legal queries and disputes.
Identify problematic claims and determine the best course of action.
Understand the costing of damage repairs and associated overheads.
Apply strong customer service skills when handling disputes/queries.
Support the claims admin team and other litigation coordinators.
Progress claims into litigation for resolution.
Work closely with external legal service providers.
Meet with third parties or their representatives to resolve liability and/or quantum issues.Key Competencies:

Essential: Minimum 2 A Levels grade C or above, OR NVQ Level 3, OR ONC in Business Management; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; teamwork experience; proven written and spoken skills; customer service experience.
Desirable: Previous claims, insurance, or legal experience.Benefits:
