About Our Client

Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance for the UK and working within a small team, typical duties and responsibilities will include the following:
* Timely completion of Daily Sales Dashboard Reports and corporate KPIs reporting.
* Inventory management, daily parts costing, weekly inventory cycle count adjustments, monthly inventory reporting, WIP analysis, inventory provision calculations, standard costs analysis, labor and production overheads.
* Month-end completion of Revenue Recognition documentation based on SOX requirements.
* Preparation of various month-end journals backup, e.g., overtime accruals.
* Monthly completion of Management Presentation pack and Site Operation financially related pack based on completion of various month-end reports, e.g., sales margin, absorption, inventory reconciliation.
* Monthly intercompany recharging backup data preparation.
* Assist in the preparation of backup data for monthly forecasts and annual budget.
* Fixed assets various schedules maintenance; CIP analysis.
* Balance sheet reconciliations review; GL accounts analysis.
* Financial reporting system supplemental data process.
* Various systems required tasks completion, e.g., Audit Board control tasks.
* ONS questionnaires and files submission.
* Assist with the external audit in providing relevant financial data requested by FC.
* Collaborate and provide information needed by the wider corporate team, especially the Shared Services Centre.
* Support the Financial Controller in ad-hoc financial projects and local business leaders' requests.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or looking to study for their ACCA and professional accounting qualifications. A strong academic background is essential, along with energy and drive to progress and develop within the business.
