Scope of the Role:
We have a great opportunity within our Finance department for one individual to join the team in the position of UK FP&A Manager. In this role you will report directly to the UK Finance Controller. You will help deliver the UK budget and forecast with supporting schedules. Support and challenge Commercial and Manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement in UK PBIT including the evaluation of current performance and future projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of UK budget and forecasts including supporting analysis and commentary.
* Engage with the business and the wider finance team to create best-in-class analysis/reporting and resulting Management Information, delivering meaningful insights to decision makers.
* Build a deep understanding of the commercial and operational drivers behind the UK’s performance. Track costs & revenues; focus on analysing segment and customer profitability.
* Working with commercial team on pricing, suppliers, and margin development.
Key Skills and Attributes:
* Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years PQE.
* Strong commercial instincts, with a proven track record of achievement in FP&A/Commercial roles.
* Comfortable in challenging colleagues, including challenging upwards.
* Familiar with supporting several business units with commercial analysis, budgets & forecasts etc. Multi-site experience is advantageous.
* Personable and proactive with excellent communication experience – the successful candidate will be in contact with a broad range of employees.
* Someone who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong ERP, BI and Excel skills.
* Natural drive not to stand still and desire to deliver continuous improvement.
