A well established Blackpool company is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to help them through a very busy period of trading. They are a friendly bunch with a no-nonsense attitude and very much a 'work hard - play hard' ethos.
The duties for the Accounts Assistant will include:
1. Daily processing of purchase ledger invoices.
2. Input invoices on to debtors and creditors control accounts.
3. Dealing with incoming cheques and bank payments.
4. Credit control duties.
5. Querying payments with local authority and NHS organisations.
6. Banking cheques on a weekly basis.
7. Dealing with client account queries.
8. Reconciling bank accounts every month.
9. Reconciling company credit card monthly.
10. Input payroll journals and reconcile gross wage to net wage.
11. Reconcile income generated monthly.
This assignment will be for a minimum of 3 months, but there is a very good chance that the role will become permanent.
