2. Strategic Commissioning Manager - Sexual and Reproductive Health
The successful postholders will work as part of the Integrated Commissioning and Public Health Service. Each will manage a team responsible for a number of service contracts with external charities, voluntary organisations and NHS providers, and will ensure these services deliver good outcomes for vulnerable people and patients. They will play a lead role in the development and implementation of our city strategies for substance misuse and sexual and reproductive health, working alongside and influencing a range of partners in statutory and voluntary services. They will lead commissioning of new services to meet the diverse and changing needs of people in the city. They will be champions for the voices of people with lived experience in the development of new service models in the future.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
