Who we are looking for
A Development Support Engineer, who will provide first line support within the sports issues team for customer facing and operational issues.
You will triage live issues and raise them to the appropriate team, ensuring that the information is accurate and clearly laid out. You will also be responsible for correcting live data via SQL where possible.
Whilst technical knowledge is not a prerequisite, you will need to demonstrate a strong will to learn independently whilst dealing with a high pressure working environment.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Understanding of betting, including terminology and bet types.
* Demonstrable customer focused approach to issues.
* Understanding of the Company’s websites.
* Willing to learn and embrace new development languages.
* Ability to handle multiple demands and cope with pressure.
Main Responsibilities
* Acting as an initial contact point for operational teams to assist in the escalation of site or trading related issues.
* Demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
* Supporting the back office testing team with testing activities.
* Understanding of the multiple tools used in the support of the Company’s website and trading teams.
* Learning database structures and basic use of SQL languages.
