Main duties of the job Book in all patients upon arrival in a timely and correct manner, to ensure prompt handovers of patients. To ensure the reception and waiting areas remain tidy and clean escalating any issues to domestic services, nurse in charge or matron as appropriate. To attend and participate in Department / Directorate meetings. Scan patient notes ensuring timely co-ordination of transfers and discharges. Ensure that patient notes are available and accessible. Ensure that patient related forms are stocked appropriately at all times. Ensure that ambulance handovers are accurately recorded (Including updating the department's inbound screen) in a timely manner. To support the Senior Patient Flow Coordinator (SPFC) in the validation of ambulance delays and fines.
