To continue serving our students at an excellent standard, we’re looking for passionate and skilled tutors to deliver our online maths tuition programme. Responsibilities Delivering our GCSE Maths programme via video call (a mixture of group and 1:1 classes) from pre-prepared lesson plans Communicating with parents to discuss student progress (via email, phone and video call) Organising and delivering additional 1:1 catch up sessions with struggling students Using free periods to cover other tutors sessions when absence occurs Marking student tests and providing feedback on work Collaborating with the team to ensure our programme continues to be the best on the market Results Lessons taught in line with core company values and mission 6-weekly student retention rate of 90% Average student grade increase per topic in line with company target (currently 3.2) Positive student satisfaction score Requirements Right to work in the UK STEM degree 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (with students in the UK) and solid understanding of the UK education system Valid DBS certificate Strong, verifiable track record of above average student results Concise, coherent and approachable tuition style Laptop and a touchscreen tablet with pen Strong wifi connection Positive, enthusiastic and charismatic personality Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change Strong written and verbal communication skills Has a great sense of urgency Proactive not reactive Salary £32,000 p.a.
