Brand Managing Director
The Property Franchise Group is the UK’s largest multi-brand estate agency franchising group, specialising in residential lettings, property sales and property-related financial services. The Property Franchise Group looks after over 18 brands, 1900 locations and 65 international franchises.
Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Property Franchise Group as Managing Director for one of our brands.
Reporting to the Group Managing Director this position requires leadership of the specified brand both internally and externally collaborating with all stakeholders to drive growth within the franchise businesses. Effective soft skills, emotional intelligence, and great communication are essential for managing B2B relationships, forging alliances, and resolving conflicts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership:
· Build strong relationships with the franchise network, through face to face, group and RBM meetings that foster commitment, enthusiasm for initiatives and business growth.
· Train and align the Operations Team to the strategies of internal departments eg marketing, IT etc ensuring clear understanding and execution of those strategies and plans by the support team.
2. Business Development and Growth:
· Through the Operations Teams execute the Annual Business Review with all franchisees and monitor regular Business Review Meetings by the team to deliver on the individual franchisee growth plans, taking corrective action where applicable.
· Develop and implement strategies for market penetration of third-party suppliers eg FS/Conveyancing/Insurances etc to drive revenue growth.
· Through the Operations Team and internal third parties, oversee the execution of the franchise agreement in terms of induction, training and mentoring.
· Implement operational best practices to optimise processes and productivity.
· Oversee the process for re-sale and recruitment of new franchisees
· Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
· Drive the brand footprint.
3. Financial Management:
· Manage financial performance and budgetary planning to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
· Monitor key financial metrics for success and implement corrective actions where required.
4. Cultivation and Development of Talent:
· Provide Training, mentorship and coaching to enhance the team’s skills and performance.
· Fully utilise all appropriate internal training provisions
· Build your teams capability and working with HR develop succession planning for your team.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
· Report monthly to the Group MD on activities, achievements and results versus budget.
· Through team meetings and 121’s, foster a dynamic work culture within the Operations Team that nurtures achievement and teamwork.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to empower team members to achieve budgeted growth.
· Attend and where appropriate, assist in the development and franchise attendance of RBM’s and conferences.
Qualifications
· Strong understanding and operational experience of estate agency.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Senior Role.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Commitment to people, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
·Educated to minimum A level standard and must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of estate agency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £100,000.00 per year
