Learning Support Assistant Job Description:
1. Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in a welcoming primary school
2. £83-£100 per day
3. Based in Colchester
4. Education and Training
5. Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
6. Long-term role starting after February half term
About the Learning Support Assistant Role:
1. Providing classroom support to pupils of varying abilities
2. Assisting students with SEND and SEMH needs in small groups and one-on-one
3. Facilitating differentiated tasks based on student ability
4. Collaborating with a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants
The Ideal Candidate for this Learning Support Assistant Role:
1. A confident and proactive individual with a passion for education
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND/SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
4. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to learning support
