We are seeking to recruit efficient Finance Assistant to join our busy finance department based in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a FE College with a turnover of over £43m and a reputation for outstanding financial management.
The Finance Assistant will have a pivotal role to play in the day-to-day function of the Management Accounts Team. They will work with several experienced colleagues and receive excellent on the job training and gain an excellent breadth of knowledge and experience of finance within the FE sector.
Candidates will have completed their AAT Level 4 or ACCA/CIMA equivalent. In addition to this they will have proven experience in a management accounts role and have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. A keen interest of working with and developing the department’s finance systems would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and an ambition to progress will be key to building effective relationships within the wider organisation.
