Robert Half Talent Solution are partnering with a company based in Cardiff to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a Permanent basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with various accounting and administrative tasks
Accounts Assistant
Permanent - Hybrid working, Mon - Thurs office based and Friday working from home.
Salary - £27,000
Hours - 9.00 - 5.15
Location - Cardiff
Your responsibilities will include :
1. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries as needed.
2. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
3. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
4. Process Invoices & Receipts
5. To be able to take control of Sage
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline work flows and improve accuracy.
7. Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis,
