About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Ty Banwen, a welcoming home for young people who have experienced childhood trauma or are struggling with mental health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the physical and emotional needs of our residents are met through a supportive and caring environment.
* Be a positive role model and promote independence by supporting a range of social, school, and work-based activities.
* Work collaboratively with our team to tailor support to meet individual needs.
* Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents.
* Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Requirements
* A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
* Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
* A current valid driver's license.
* Compassion and empathy.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility around shift times.
* Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
Please note that this role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
