Job summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and fully committed Health Care Assistant to cover maternity leave on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will join our friendly team on our busy inpatient ward at Helston Community Hospital.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse you will contribute to the optimum delivery of patient care by assisting all clinical staff to deliver care in a manner sensitive to the individual client's needs and wishes, whilst acknowledging and respecting their rights and beliefs at all times.
You must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a genuine interest in the care of elderly patients.
The shifts are day duties from 07:30 - 20:00, or and 12:00- 20:00. Night shifts are19:30 - 08:00. These shifts are on a rotational basis to support 24-hour nursing care, 7 days per week.
