Procurement Assistance - Contract
Anson McCade are pleased to be working with a leading consultancy who have an urgent demand for a Procurement assistant.
Key requirements
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products or services:
o Comply with governance requirements for both the business and customers.
o Deliver maximum value for money.
o Meet the agreed service levels established with internal stakeholders.
* Identify and promote opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Plan and manage workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and escalating concerns when necessary.
* Oversee contracts throughout their life cycle, working closely with the business to ensure successful outcomes.
* Proactively address supplier underperformance in terms of cost, quality, and schedule.
* Prepare and issue key documents for the sourcing and contracting process, such as Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), assessment documents, and purchase orders.
* Manage the supplier payment process, resolving goods receipt issues and supplier debt.
* Track, deliver, and document cost savings.
* Maintain accurate order book management to ensure timely deliveries and precise cash forecasting.
* Take responsibility for leading specific activities or initiatives on behalf of the broader team when required.
Contract details
* 12 months
* 4 days onsite at Alton
* Rate £270 Inside IR35
