We are seeking Support Workers to support the young adults that we care for. We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to caring for our young people. You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development, and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips, and social occasions.
The role will involve working a condensed rota of 7.15am - 9.45pm on a 2 on - 4 off basis over a six-week rolling pattern, including some weekends, and also includes up to three sleep-ins per month.
Park House is a community-based residential home for up to nine young adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is situated in the town of Bromyard within two minutes' walk of the town centre. Contained within the main home there is also a flat which consists of bedroom, lounge, and kitchen facilities.
This enables residents to live in a semi-supported environment, for young adults making their next step towards independent living. £11.80 - £12.38 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
