THE TEAM
This role is in our Human Resources Team which is spread across our London, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh offices and supports the business internationally. The HR Team is made up of various smaller teams including Learning and Development, Reward, Resourcing, HR Operations HR Business Partnering and the CSR and Diversity team.

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY AT AG?
You will support assisting with the Business Services Graduate and Apprentice programmes, as well as Legal Apprenticeships through recruitment, development and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring we grow our talent pipeline from a diverse range of candidates.
Working collaboratively with the HR Business Partnering team, Recruitment team and colleagues in the wider Early Careers team to deliver best in class programmes, primarily into our business services functions.
WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF THE ROLE?
The following list is not exhaustive but gives a flavour of the expectations and responsibilities of the Early Careers Advisor:
RECRUITMENT
Run The End-to-end Recruitment Process Including
1. With the support of the Early Careers Manager, assist with the recruitment process for graduates and apprentices, managing the application process and screening in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Work with Early Careers Manager to plan assessment centre dates. Manage planning of assessment centres including sourcing assessors, booking candidates, and reviewing assessment documents.
3. Run assessment centres with support of Early Careers Apprentice, and Early Careers Manager where necessary.
4. Working alongside relevant hiring teams, manage voice interview applications, including screening of interviews and managing candidates through the process via the firm's ATS.
5. Maintain recruitment data and provide insights on key metrics.
6. Support Early Careers Manager on internal solicitor apprentice recruitment process.
MARKETING & D&I
1. Work with the Early Careers Manager to execute firm's graduate and apprentice marketing to ensure relevant information is distributed amongst media brands and outlets.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges and other institutions to promote our programmes and attract top talent.
3. Work to drive the Early Careers brand internally and externally to improve uptake of graduate and apprentice recruitment activities.
4. Support the Early Careers Manager in working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the firm's Early Careers Recruitment D&I targets for the year.
5. Coordinate and attend career fairs, presentations, and other events to raise awareness and interest in our Legal and Business Services apprenticeships and Graduate programmes.
DEVELOPMENT
1. Lead qualification and completion process, working with the Early Careers Manager to provide guidance and ensure a smooth transition to roles upon completion of the scheme.
2. Assisting with the development reviews and provide ongoing support and guidance to graduates and apprentices.
3. Supporting the Early Careers Manager with the onboarding and induction of all new apprentice and graduate starters, including apprenticeship onboarding with the training provider(s).
4. Working with the Early Careers Manager, design and continuously improve the graduate and apprentice programmes to align with business needs.
Other
1. Manage Early Careers Apprentice in the team to ensure the above is executed.
2. Budget Management, with the support of the Early Careers Manager.
3. Build our Social Media profile for our Legal and Business Service Apprenticeships and Graduate programmes.
4. Keep up to date with industry news and build an external profile, developing intel on the current market.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO HAVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?
1. Experience in recruitment and development of apprenticeships and / or graduate programmes.
2. Knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and graduate programmes highly desirable.
3. Working knowledge of a professional services environment.
4. Experience managing multi-subject apprenticeship and graduate schemes, across multiple UK locations.
5. Experience of stakeholder management and building relationships with a range of senior members of our business to deliver a shared objective.
6. Demonstrated project management skills, including budget management and the ability to lead team members.
7. Experience establishing new programmes of work and delivering to deadlines.
8. Some knowledge of wider HR practices and processes including employee relations, performance management and wellbeing support, although support would be provided by our HRBP team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective candidate and stakeholder engagement, mentorship and guidance.
10. A background in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
