We are looking for a committed, flexible and cheerful Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate will be professional and positive in approach and will work as a member of a small team. They must be flexible and adaptable, able to handle a range of tasks and day-to-day challenges with skill and diplomacy. They must also be organised and thorough, offering commitment and a sense of responsibility.
Experience & Background
Previous experience as an administrative assistant or working in a busy office would be desirable and/or experience of working in a school setting, with strong organisational skills. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a good sense of humour, possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to demonstrate initiative. Experience of working with SIMS, Parent Pay, and text messaging services are desirable.
Duties
You will be responsible for:
* Welcoming all visitors
* Answering calls professionally and in a polite and timely manner
* Checking and completing pupil attendance registers
* Supporting and assisting pupils and teachers when required
* Other duties as required by the School Senior Leadership Team
You will act as the first point of contact for telephone and face-to-face enquiries supporting staff, students, and parents and will represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. You will also be responsible for the general day-to-day admin tasks to deliver efficient administrative systems and processes to support the effective running of the school.

* Experience of data entry and IT systems
