We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve an environmental related degree – that’s it! No prior experience needed.
Key skills / attributes that we’d be looking for from the successful candidate are:
* A passion for the environment
* The ability to influence others
* Knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process would be helpful
This role will see you dealing with key environmental challenges including: ecology, biodiversity, environmental challenges & survey works. You will be working with local authorities, NRW, and other consenting bodies. The purpose of the overall enabling team is identifying scheme/project risks within the Capital programme and proactively mitigate those risks.

Good to know
Your graduate scheme will primarily be based in South-East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice, you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.
Recruitment process - We are running our adverts until December 8th. Should your application meet our criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete. The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, likely to take place at our head office (Cardiff) between February/March 2025. Further information will be provided closer to the time. We are looking for a CV and cover letter that shows how you will make a difference and add value.
