Description About the role Are you passionate about digital communications with experience in websites and intranets, and a flair for design? If so, the Corserv Communications team may be the perfect place to demonstrate your skills as Digital Communications Manager. Working as part of the Corserv Communications team, the Digital Comms Manager will build a positive reputation for Corserv Solutions, helping to increase the reach and impact through the delivery of high quality web, intranet and wider digital activity, contributing to the satisfaction and engagement of service users and staff. In role you will support the operational divisions with the development of clear communications strategies and plans, promoting good digital practice and digital consultation; wider engagement activities, and both managing & developing digital content across a range of platforms (working closely with business colleagues to deliver an integrated and outcome-focused approach). You will also: develop, maintain and improve Corserv’s internet and intranet sites, including producing (and acting on) performance reports and developing the services, while monitoring and applying accessibility standards to webpages and intranet pages provide management of website analytics to increase exposure in line with SEO good practice lead on and/ or participate in specific IT projects that support communications contribute to and help implement Corserv’s communications strategies and materials, particularly those in the digital space enhance corporate brand management provide digital support and print ready design for key internal & external exhibitions/ events and merchandise develop and maintain a Communication Sharepoint site provide specialist advice and guidance to services on the development of web content and graphics, including for new business areas ensure a proactive approach to external and internal communications through development and positive use of forward communications plans, holding regular meetings with staff across the group About you To be successful as Digital Communications Manager, we are looking for you to demonstrate: relevant professional qualifications in IT/Media with post-qualification experience in a large organisation and/ or demonstrate equivalent knowledge from experience working in an IT or media environment (with experience of design in web based communications) up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the use of the internet/ intranet as a key communication channel, including specific knowledge of content management systems and editorial policies experience of the use of web and social media to support multichannel communication strategies – both internal and external appropriate experience of photography, shooting video and video editing to support production of materials knowledge and experience of graphic design, infographics and template design to support production of relevant company documents, such as annual reports and business plans comprehensive knowledge of developing and maintaining internet and intranet content management, including the ability to show flair for high quality web page design, content and presentation Our offer to you Salary: £31,000 per annum Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Contract Type: Permanent (or fixed term contract considered) Base: This role is hybrid (working from home and office) with Bodmin as base when office working, but with regular travel to locations across Cornwall required Working for Corserv, you will have an employee benefits package that includes: Generous pension scheme with employer contribution Employee discount scheme and wellbeing events Holiday starting at 23 days and increasing to 28 with service (pro-rata if part-time) with option to purchase additional, plus bank holidays Cycle to Work scheme Flexible working hours & home working options Investment and support in your continuous training and development Opportunity to become a Safeguarding Advocate, Health & Wellbeing Champion and Mental Health First Aider Safeguarding We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all our service users, clients and customers.
