Job Description: Care Services Induction Specialist Hybrid Working - Mainly WFH with occasional site/office visits Salary - £31,500 Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday - Role requires an 8am start on Mondays Summary: In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process for the New Starter Inductions agenda for Care Services. This includes all aspects from onboarding, managing and reporting induction status. Accountabilities & Activities: Manage the end-to-end process of the New Starter journey booking system by working with the L&D leadership team and Onboarding team to ensure sufficient inductions are available to meet operational demands. Ensure good governance is followed, using the booking tool, Bupa Learn and Radar. Highlighting to the Learning Manager or Business Partner any issues with induction allocation. Liaising with the Area Trainers to ensure smooth induction process. Being aware of actions needed to trouble shoot issues and working in collaboration with all departments to meet the needs of the business. Provide data and management information on a weekly basis to operational leadership team. Manage the communication process for all types of Care Services induction for new delegates, ensuring all communication and ensuring instructions are received in a timely manner in line with our SLA and agreed ways of working. Creating the classes on Bupa Learn and keeping them up to date with the right instructor. Manage key stakeholder relationships ensuring you build trust and reliability. Manage the data matrix to ensure the correct solutions are applied to drive staff retention from the very start of their career. Build a library of template documents – keeping them in a central and accessible place with good version control and governance, by auditing regularly for consistency. Attend team meetings and participate in team events to ensure you are kept up to date with the team and business strategy. Experience Required: Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail. Have a good understanding of day-to-day operations of care homes/villages. Ability to analyse data, recognise trends and make improvement recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidentially collaborate with stakeholders. Building and fostering a cohesive and collaborative way of always working with key contact information available. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant digital systems. Being able to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure at times of high activity of staff recruitment. Desirable Knowledge and experience of using RADAR.
