An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for the “Silver Accredited Food for Life, School Catering Service” in this busy school environment. As the Chef Manager, you will be preparing a variety of appetising meals every day, with the support of your catering team, using local produce and fresh ingredients.
You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintenance of due diligence procedures and the associated bookwork required. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and friendly team player, who can demonstrate a proven ability to achieve budget targets, whilst providing a high quality catering service. You will continue to encourage the pupils at this school to want to have a school meal, and support the School Catering Service’s desire to educate pupils to have a healthier lifestyle.
