As a registered nurse, assist in the provision of active rehabilitation, stepdown/up care within this 22 bedded inpatient environment.
The role will incorporate the assessing of needs, developing and implementing programmes of care, and evaluating this input to support the facilitation of appropriate discharge back to the community.
The post will support the Matron/Sister in ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring safety at all times.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our 22 bedded Rehabilitation/Frailty unit at the Cumberlege Intermediate Care Centre (CICC).
We are looking for a Band 5 Registered General Nurse to join our team. You will assist in leading our dedicated team in the provision of expert patient care and rehabilitation, so if you are looking for a challenge, this could be the post for you.

Person Specification
* Degree level or equivalent professional nursing qualification
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* NMC Registration
* Qualification in teaching and mentoring
* Diagnostics and Consultation qualification
* Extended & Supplementary Prescriber
* Literate in IT/Computer Skills
* Good oral communication skills based on fluency in the English Language
* Effective organisational skills
* Experience of working across both acute and community settings
* Previous experience within a rehabilitation setting/Intermediate care setting
* Understanding of or previous experience of SystmOne
