Job Description:
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in setting and operating FANUC-controlled CNC machine centres, focusing on milling processes. You will be responsible for maintaining program and tooling records, performing inspections (including first-off inspections), and ensuring close tolerance work with a variety of materials, primarily aluminium. The CNC Machinist will also interpret engineering drawings, report drawing errors, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth shift transitions. Other duties may be assigned based on the CNC Machinist's expertise and capabilities.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist (essential)
2. Demonstrated ability to work to fine tolerances (essential)
3. Experience with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials (essential)
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings (essential)
5. Skilled in using a range of measuring equipment (essential)
6. Time-served CNC Machinist with milling and turning experience (desirable)
