Manager - International Tax Core
We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our international tax services team, who are recognised as being leaders in international tax advisory and cross border M&A. You will be working with some of the largest corporations in the world advising them on their international tax planning and M&A deals, within our International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS) Practice focusing on the CORE Tax offering.
It is a great time to join the ITTS team who have expanded exponentially in recent years and are continuing to grow. You’ll be at the forefront of helping our clients navigate market challenges on an international scale.
The opportunity
Our international tax professionals will work on a variety of projects focused on helping clients develop and execute their international tax strategy, including:
1. Expansion into new markets
2. Pre-transaction reorganisations and post-transaction integration
3. Optimisation of capital structure and financing
4. Optimisation of intellectual property ownership and reliefs
5. Managing the risk arising from global law changes such as BEPS
6. Lobbying and negotiation with tax authorities in the UK and globally
Your key responsibilities
1. Manage the successful delivery of international tax services engagements, ensuring technical excellence.
2. Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service.
3. Spot opportunities and involve colleagues to develop our commercial proposition.
4. Assist in winning work by managing existing clients and contributing to new client engagements.

To qualify for the role you must have
1. A background in corporate tax with demonstrable advisory experience.
2. One of the following qualifications: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA (or equivalent knowledge).
3. Strong technical skills and eagerness to develop further.
4. Experience of working on International Tax projects.
5. Project management skills, ability to plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
