Established in 1996, we’ve supported our valued customers to rationalise and decarbonise their fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ (VOR) time. What you will be doing Predominantly this role will involve Collection/delivery of parts and vehicles. When there are no driving requirements this role will be involved in general labouring duties within the depot, such as cleaning of workshop areas when required, or vehicle washes on chassis and bodies (interior/exterior) valet cab interiors. The role will include: Collection and delivery of parts and vehicles. Carrying out cleaning duties within the workshop/engineering areas to help maintain a safe working environment. Keep yard/car park areas clean and tidy. Keep wash bay areas clean and tidy, report any misuse or damage to wash bay equipment. Work within allotted timescales. Always ensure efficient use of washing/cleaning materials reducing waste. Ensure work is completed efficiently to maximise productivity. All jobcards and relevant paperwork to be completed correctly and to be legible. To clean vehicles to a standard fit for inspection, mot or for hire purposes. Ensure any company tooling/equipment is kept to the required standard, any defects or loss is reported. To follow all in house and 3rd party premises health & safety guidelines. To ensure all PPE is kept to a suitable standard and worn as specified within site rules. Requirements HGV Class 1 Driving licence. Experience working in a commercial vehicle workshop environment. Municipal vehicle/equipment operation experience (Preferable) Mechanical knowledge (Preferable) The hours of work will be Monday – Friday 42.5 hours per week, working 08.00-17.00, with flexibility as sometimes we may require an earlier or later start or finish.
