An opportunity has arisen within the Involvement, Recovery & Wellness Centre, working Cheshire Wide, for an experienced Clinical Lead. This role will take on responsibility for overseeing the delivery of high-quality person-centred care and implementing best practices and guidelines, to ensure that safe clinical standards are maintained and positive risk taking is assured.
The person will need to be able to work well under pressure in a potentially busy and noisy environment, as well as feel comfortable in overseeing a high caseload that covers both primary and secondary care within a team of lived experience members. Therefore, a high level of authority is favourable, in order to help the team take the initiative to successfully implement recovery practices that involve safe risk taking as well as highlight and control important clinical matters for improvement.
Main duties of the job
* Overseeing the delivery of high-quality recovery focused care.
* Providing autonomous clinical support, supervision and guidance to other staff members in the team.
* Implementing practices that ensure the teams operational and clinical standards are met.
* Responding to team requests for clinical support in demanding situations.
* Facilitating the more difficult/clinically orientated workshops.
* Regularly reviewing and updating care plans.
* Auditing clinical notes and evaluating clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
* Conducting research to identify areas for development.

Qualifications
Essential
* A relevant Social Work, Nursing or Allied Health Professional (e.g. Occupational Therapy) degree level qualification
* Current registration with a nationally recognised professional body relevant to the professional qualification held e.g. GSCC for Social workers, HPC for Occupational Therapists etc
* Good level of post registration experience
Desirable
* Masters level qualification or equivalent short courses and/or experience
* Teaching qualification or significant experience
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
* Excellent communication skills: - working with staff - working with patients and carers - working with general practice - presentations - written reports - understanding and ability to interpret, research and facilitate staff to implement evidence-based practice
* Proven ability to challenge current practices and freedom to make change in light of evidence-based recommendations
