Location/Division Specific Information This Channel Manager role is preferably based in UK/Ireland or anywhere in the European Union, within our dynamic Measurement Control & Sample Identification division. A commercial and technical channel manager position responsible for leading sales operations and market share objectives for the Vibrational Spectroscopy portfolio. This role is primarily working with Channels and includes direct business activities with major accounts. A day in the Life: - Handles and controls all channel sales activities with strategic direction for the related product lines and develops and implement channel sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned targets and expands business within territory - Consistently long-term approach with focus on valuable channel sales and workflow selling to accelerate decision making and position versus competition - Keeping channel partners accountable to achieve their annual targets - Setting objectives and deliver results that have direct impact on annual AOP achievement - Perform Monthly and quarterly business reviews - Conduct regular meetings and joint visits to promote strategic relationships Key to Success - Successful Sales and support experience for related products - Ability to collaborate with key decision makers at all levels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language, any additional European language is an asset Education: - Bachelor or university degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 5 years of related experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Prior experience with vibrational spectroscopy or related products and working with distribution channels - Validated interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks - Experience to work in a Matrix Organization desired - This position requires frequent travel of up to 30-40% to customer sites and the ability to support and conduct presentations and product demonstrations, overnight stays needed. - Valid European driving licence Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
